Compression:

• The scroll plate is driven to rotate generating centrifugal force that compresses the refrigerant gas along spiral grooves – raising its pressure and temperature.

Heat Dissipation:

• During compression, the refrigerant releases heat which is dissipated through a condenser or evaporator to ensure system stability.

Throttling:

• High-pressure refrigerant passes through a throttling device (e.g., a capillary), reducing its pressure and forming low-temperature, low-pressure wet steam.

Absorption:

• This wet steam enters an absorber, releasing heat to water or another medium, and becomes saturated steam or superheated water.

Regeneration:

• The steam exchanges heat in the evaporator with the cooled medium, completing the refrigeration cycle as some moisture is reabsorbed into the system.
